The text of the GAD document corpus - the sealed formal specification, the
seven signed succession records, the manifesto, and the documentation set
(Executive Guide, Glossary, Standardization Track) - is licensed under the
Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License
(CC BY-ND 4.0).

Under this license you are free to share these documents - to copy and
redistribute them in any medium or format, for any purpose, including
commercially - provided you give appropriate credit and distribute them
unmodified. NoDerivatives means the text travels whole: the corpus is
checksummed, the specification is sealed at v1.3 by succession-7, and
amendments arrive only by numbered, operator-signed succession. A modified
copy would no longer verify against the digests that make it evidence.

This license covers the text of the GAD documents. The GAD and Governed AI Development names and marks are not licensed. Implementing the methodology described in these documents requires no permission from anyone.
